Meet the Team: Our Founder's Story

People often ask me why I started a marketing agency specifically for care homes. The answer is simple: I saw brilliant, compassionate care homes being overlooked because their marketing did not reflect the quality of their care. I knew there had to be a better way, and I knew my unique background could provide it.

A Journey Through Care and Psychology

My journey did not start in marketing. It started in the care sector. I have worked in care, and I have seen firsthand the incredible dedication of care teams and the profound difference a good home makes to the lives of residents and their families. I have also seen the administrative pressures, the staffing challenges, and the constant struggle to balance outstanding care with a sustainable business.

Alongside my work in care, I pursued an Honours degree in Psychology. This gave me a deep understanding of human behaviour, decision-making, and empathy. I learned how people process information, especially under stress, which is a constant state for families choosing a care home. This psychological insight is the foundation of our marketing approach. We do not just try to sell a service; we try to build trust and reduce anxiety for families at one of the most difficult times of their lives.

The Missing Piece: A Masters in Dementia

As my career progressed, I saw that one of the biggest challenges for both families and care homes was dementia. To truly serve the sector, I knew I needed to understand it on a deeper level. That is why I am currently completing a Masters in Dementia. This academic rigour allows me to understand the nuances of dementia care, the specific needs of residents and their families, and how to communicate about these sensitive topics with accuracy and compassion. I realised that my unique combination of hands-on care experience, psychological understanding, and specialist dementia knowledge could help good care homes thrive.
